Eric Lynn Coach  Eric Lynn swam at Plymouth Salem High School (seven times all state, eight times all American) swimming sprint freestyle, backstroke and 200 IM. He swam for Oakland university, (NCAA division 1-All American) specializing in the 50 free, 100 free and 100 backstroke. Eric has been coaching with the Spartans for three years and works with the 12 and under swimmers. |

Tim Phillips Coach  Tim Phillips has been an assistant coach with the Spartan Aquatic Club since 2002. During this time he has coached all age group levels including several State Champions. He is currently coaching the Silver and Bronze groups and puts a strong emphasis on swimming technique. Tim swam with local swim clubs including the Willow Run Flyers and Ypsi Otters before competing at Ypsilanti High School where he specialized in the 100 Fly and 200 I.M. Tim lives in Novi with his wife and two girls and is a Park Planner with the Huron-Clinton Metroparks. |

Kari Smith Coach  Kari Smith swam through high school at Salem. She has been primarily coaching the Bronze group with Spartan Aquatic Club since 2009. Her experience also includes working for the Plymouth-Canton School District where she the after-school swim program for all ages and all types of swimmers. She graduated from Eastern Michigan University with a teaching degree in Physical Education and Health. The combination of my swimming experience, running swim programs and education in teaching enhances my coaching ability handling the Bronze group. |

Tracy Morgan Coach  Tracy Morgan just recently graduated with honors at Eastern Michigan University (December 11). She was a member of Eastern Michigan’s MAC squad for all four years of college and typically swam backstroke, butterfly and sprint/mid distance freestyle. During the past nine years, Tracy has had an array of coaching experience at almost every level. Her coaching career began when my twin sister and I were co-head coaches of a community team for three years. She also coached several other country club (Travis Point Country Club in Saline, MI) and community teams while in high school and college with swimmers ranging from four to 18 years old. |

Travis Hatt Coach  Travis Hatt has been an Assistant Coach at Spartans since 2009. Travis spends his time with Silver and Spartan groups and has coached the Bronze group in the past. He hails from Livonia, MI and attended Stevenson High School where he swam every stroke with the IM and Fly being his favorites. He also recently graduated from University of Michigan with a degree in mechanical engineering. |
