Updated for 2011–2012 Swim Season!
Spartan Aquatic Club (SAC) is a non-profit, private swim club for children ages five to 18 years old. The club has regular practices at Novi High School, as well as participates in competitive meets against other swim clubs in the area.
Children interested in joining our team must be able to complete a 25-yard swim without stopping and have an interest in being on a fun, yet competitive team. More information...

FEBRUARY UPDATES from Spartan Aquatic Club
“Super SAC” INDY 2012 Travel Team:
Great job to all swimmers who attended; everyone swam great and the team spirit was amazing. A great time was had by all, and we had lots of SUPER swims!! Parents thank you for supporting your swimmers and allowing them to attend this meet, it is one that we look forward to each year to be very fast and very fun!
Spartan Group Swimmers:
Starting tomorrow – Tuesday January 29th we will be having morning swim practices from 5:30 am to 6:30am at the Sports Club of Novi.
Silver Group Swimmers:
Please return to your normal practice schedule beginning this Wednesday. We will have full use of our pool once again now that the middle school swim season has reached its conclusion. As a reminder, that is MWF 5:30-6:30 in the water with dryland session on Wednesdays from 6:30-7:00.
NO PRACTICE DATES:
Thursday 2/2 – Bronze can attend practice Saturday 2/4 from 11am to noon
Friday 2/10 – Silver can attend practice Saturday 2/11 from 11am to noon
Friday 2/17 – Silver can attend practice Saturday 2/18 from 11am to noon
Friday 2/24 – Silver can attend practice Saturday 2/25 from 11am to noon
SMAC Meet Entries:
The SMAC is full and there is a possibility that they will not be able to accommodate all of our swimmers entered in the Friday night session and the Saturday morning session. As soon as we get final word on this I will email each of you personally with what options we may have.
District Championship Meet:
Many of you have emailed or asked about entering this meet –
The meet packet and entry information as yet to be received and/or posted
by Michigan Swimming. As soon as it is I will send it to all ASAP. So please pay close attention to the entry deadline – as it will be a quick one.
JO Meet:
SAC has been assigned the Western JO meet this year. It will be at East Lansing High School. As soon as the information is made available – it will be sent out as well.
Practice/Construction Schedule:
Please visit the team website for the most up to date pool(s) and practice schedule. There is a tab just for the construction info.
Spring Session:
The Spring Session will start on March 12th – at the temporary pool locations.
Watch your mailboxes mid-March for Spring Session bills and pool schedules.
SAC Annual Banquet:
Save the date…..the SAC Annual Team Banquet will be April 24th

District & JO Meet Assignments 2012

Spartan Aquatic Club has been assigned the following locations for the District & JO meets this season: -District Championship Meet; Feb. 24-26 at LCSC; Q3 times required -JO Championship Meet; March 2-4 at East Lansing HS; Q2 times required. As soon as the meet packets become available, they will be sent out along with an eligibility report for the meet. Good Luck with the rest of the Short Course Yard Season - Swim Fast Spartans!!!!!

SAC JANUARY 2012 UPDATES & REMINDERS Greetings & Happy New Year Spartan Swimmers & Families! The team is back to the regular practice schedule starting Tuesday, January 3rd. January NO POOL/PRACTICE: Thursday January 26th and NO Locker room access Saturday January 7th BAC Meet: The next team meet is January 13-15th at Royal Oak Middle School. Please be sure to arrive on time for check in and warm up – and remember to have events written on your swimmers hand prior to arrival. Good Luck Swimmers!!!!! INDY TRAVEL MEET JANUARY 27-29, 2012: Travel plans, hotel reservations, itinerary and permission slips will be or have been given to swimmers this week (Jan 2nd). Permission slips due back by January 15, 2012 Good Luck to all Spartan Swimmers!!!! February Team Meet – SMAC – Last Chance Meet: The February meet will be the SMAC Last Chance Meet – February 17-19, 2012 in Saline.
